I asked the late Elisabeth Sladen about her role in CORONATION STREET at a signing in 2000! She told me about her character's involvement with Len and that it didn't really work out because "can you really see me as a barmaid?!?" She was friendly and funny as well as a great actress. The world is a lesser place without her.
