About Me

- I started watching soaps in the early '80s when my mom plopped me down in front of the TV. Heavily watched soaps all through junior high, fell off a bit in high school, majorly fell off in college. Continued to be devoted to EASTENDERS on PBS all this time. After graduating from NYU with a degree in Cinema Studies, I moved to LA and got hooked again on soaps while working retail. Left the world of retail for a job in an office, got laid off in January 2007 and took advantage of all that free time to avidly watch soaps when not applying for jobs and going on interviews. Finally got a part-time job in June 2008! Left that gig in August 2008 for a full-time job. Soaps covered include: THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, AS THE WORLD TURNS, GUIDING LIGHT, DAYS OF OUR LIVES, ALL MY CHILDREN, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, GENERAL HOSPITAL, GOSSIP GIRL (on a technicality), NEIGHBOURS, CORONATION STREET, PASSIONS, NIGHT SHIFT, PORT CHARLES, DARK SHADOWS, EASTENDERS, MVP, RYAN'S HOPE,BEVERLY HILLS 90210
